At this time, close the condensed water valve on one side and open the steam inlet valve. At the same time, close the steam inlet valve on the opposite side and open the condensed water valve so that steam is ejected from the opposite direction. If there is a thin flange in the mold, it is best for steam to pass around the flange so that the material sandwiched inside the flange can also be steamed and melted.

    3. Pressure maintenance: After passing lateral steam, a pressure maintenance or double-sided steaming and melting process is required. During this process, open the steam inlet valve and close the condensed water discharge valve to gradually reach the peak pressure.

  4. Cooling: After passing steam, the temperature inside the mold generally reaches 140 °C. In order to ensure the smooth demolding of the product, the mold temperature must be reduced to 70 °C.

  5. Demolding of EPP material products: With the release of internal pressure and the temperature dropping to the allowable demolding temperature, the demolding operation can be performed.

  6. Drying and shaping: Generally, the drying temperature is set at 60 °C - 80 °C. The drying room should maintain dry air and good ventilation.
